Josh Loegering has announced his run for the North Dakota House in District 28.

“Being fiscally conservative, I have been concerned with the excessive spending by the state in the past few years,” Loegering said.

He said he is pro-life, in favor of term limits and defense of property rights.

Loegering grew up on a farm in central Minnesota and graduated from North Dakota State University with a degree in civil engineering. A licensed professional engineer, he has been the LaMoure County highway superintendent since March 2018.

“Working for LaMoure County has been the best job of my career,” Loegering said. “I love serving the citizens of LaMoure County and ensuring they have a safe and
efficient transportation system.”

Previously, Loegering worked for the North Dakota Department of Transportation in Bismarck and for KLJ out of its Valley City office. While with KLJ, Loegering served as the county engineer for Dickey and McIntosh counties.

Loegering and his wife, Christine, live on a farm northeast of LaMoure, N.D., and farm with her parents. They have six children ages 3-12, whom they homeschool.
