Kassian was involved in some controversy Saturday after he bumped into Samuel Montembeault in the first period. He later fought Michael Pezzetta in the third period to answer for the incident. Kassian also snapped his three-game point drought with a helper on a Ryan Nugent-Hopkins goal. The 31-year-old Kassian is up to 14 points, 84 hits, 38 PIM, 37 shots on net and a plus-1 rating in 31 contests. With Nugent-Hopkins and Zach Hyman as linemates, Kassian could be in a position to post stronger scoring numbers going forward.
