Glee star Jenna Ushkowitz has confirmed that she's pregnant.

In a post on Instagram earlier this week, Jenna shared the news that she and her husband David Stanley are expecting a baby girl later this year.

Alongside a black-and-white photo of the couple together, Jenna wrote: "Our hearts are so full… Baby Girl Stanley coming in June."

Friends of the couple, including Jenna's Glee co-stars Jacob Artist, Kevin McHale, Dot-Marie Jones, Noah Guthrie and Max Adler, shared congratulations in the comments on her post.

Jenna also shared a video to Instagram Stories saying: "I just want to pop on here and say thank you so much for all of the well wishes, all of the love, all of the support.

"We are over the moon... It is not lost on us how lucky we are to be in this position, and how grateful we are that we can be. So, I just wanted to say that as well. We are just overjoyed, so thank you so much to everybody."

Jenna and David have been together since 2018, and announced their engagement back in summer 2020, after he proposed while they were walking their dog.

She confirmed the news by sharing a photo of her, David and their dog Bear on social media, writing: "Yes, a million times, yes."

The couple got married on July 24, 2021 at a historic home in Los Angeles.

"We were elated and so grateful that we didn't have to push our wedding and that we got to have the day of our dreams," Jenna told Brides magazine at the time. "It was such a gift that we were able to share it with our friends and family.

"Having our closest family and loved ones there (safely) was a priority for us. By setting the expectation from the get-go that we had to limit guests, we were able to focus our planning and ensure that we could stay flexible in case any element of the day needed to change."

Since starring as Tina Cohen-Chang on Glee, Jenna has won two Tony Awards as a Broadway producer, one in 2017 for a revival of Once On This Island and one in 2019 for the Broadway premiere of The Inheritance.

She's also due to appear in Rosé All Day, a comedy which will also star The Flight Attendant's Briana Cuoco and American Horror Story's Chelsea Alden.
