If you ask Wallace, he is going to put money on himself, in a landslide.

Wallace joined the PM Team on Friday afternoon to discuss the retirement of Ben Roethlisberger and the future of the quarterback position, but the conversation was derailed for a moment.

When Wallace was asked if, in his prime, he was faster than Hill is right now, Wallace answered without hesitation.

“Yeah, for sure.”

That’s some real confidence from the former Steelers wide out.

Wallace was asked a follow up if he would steal Hill’s signature peace-out sign as he ran past him, and Wallace’s confidence continued.

“It’s not even going to be close enough for the deuces.”

For what it’s worth, a prime Wallace against current would be a close race.

A quick search for each of their 40-yard dash times show that they are only separated by .04 of a second.

Hill clocked in with a 4.29, just a touch fast than Wallace’s 4.33.

While Hill has been made famous for his speed in the NFL, even doing races against Terrell Owens and the possibility of racing Usain Bolt, Wallace once touted himself as the fastest player in the NFL.
