February 14, also known as Valentine's Day, is right around the corner. Have you made your plans yet? If you've been trying to figure out how you want to celebrate, I've got some suggestions for you. Dinner and dessert are cool, but have you ever tried ax throwing? Or what about hitting the mall and checking out some of the fun activities there? You only live once, so it's time to step up your game and plan some really fun stuff for you and your boo.

Real quick side note: isn't it crazy that there is a shortage of so many everyday items due to supply chain issues, but in every store, there is plenty, and I mean PLENTY of Valentine's Day items?

Alright, now back to our regularly scheduled program. Hopefully, these ideas will inspire you to create a memorable V-Day or even just a regular date night for your special someone. I am a firm believer that you don't have to wait for a designated 'holiday' to do something special. We are blessed in Western New York to have some really unique things to do, so why not take advantage of them on the regular?

Also, if you and your significant other love to imbibe, you can attend Buffalo On Tap together for V-Day.  It's Saturday, February 12 at the Convention Center.  There will be over 150 beers, ciders and hard seltzers.  You must be 21 or older and vaxxed to attend. You can buy tickets at Consumers Beverages or online here.

Some ideas that aren't listed below, but are still fun and unique include doing a cooking class together, attending a sip and paint, getting an Airbnb or hotel room for a staycation, or having a spa night in the house (since COVID, ya know). Full transparency, some of these ideas might be better suited as gift certificates or rain checks for when the weather is warmer. Let me know if you plan on using one of these ideas; you can tweet me @937WBLK.
