In Memory: Jan. 28

From Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory

Muriel Baker, 84, Vero Beach

October 09, 1937 – January 23, 2022

It is with profound sadness that the family of Muriel Baker announces her passing on Sunday, January 23, 2022, in Vero Beach, Florida. Muriel passed peacefully at home in the presence of her family and friends.

Muriel will be remembered as a generous, loving person who opened her heart to all. She was most happy when her home was filled with the raucous laughter of family and friends and delighted in making sure everyone had more than enough to eat.  The tenderness of her touch and warm spirit belied the strength of her soul and although we will no longer hear her voice, we take comfort in knowing she is resting peacefully.

Muriel is survived by her husband William Baker, her children Brian, Seth, Mary, and Daniel Baker, and her grandchildren Andrew, Porter, Meredith, Alexandra, David, Tyler, Katherine, Matthew, Samantha, and Tchoup.

In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Temple Beth Shalom in Vero Beach, Florida, or the VNA & Hospice Foundation in Gifford, Florida. In addition, all acts of kindness towards family, friends, loved ones and strangers, will always be greatly appreciated.

Arrangements are by Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.
