“The bar has been set high, and I intend to continue moving Harrisburg SD in a positive direction in collaboration with the new Superintendent, Mr. Eric Turman, and the administration, faculty, and staff of the District. I see great things happening in the District and I look forward to partnering with the Board of School Directors, community, and local officials to improve the quality of education for the students of the City of Harrisburg,” Dr. Suski said.

Suski adds that the district is making progress and has the foundation in place to improve across the board.

“I am grasping the plan here and I know the amended recovery plan and I know the things that need to be done here in Harrisburg to continue to have the district on a solid footing moving forward and I am eager to work with the team to make that happen,” Dr. Suski said.

Dr. Suski plans to hold town hall meetings to get input from the public about their concerns and issues and her term began on Saturday, Jan. 29.
