UPDATE: Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office finds man who went missing in Venice

A Silver Alert has been lifted after a missing man was found by the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office.
SCSO lifted the alert early Saturday morning after Wesley Neal Croteau, 76, was found in DeSoto County after he went missing in Venice. He’s now in the process of being reunited with his family.
On Friday, Croteau left for a doctor’s appointment and did not return home.
