Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young couldn't get any more hyped for Ja Morant after the Memphis Grizzlies guard was named as an All-Star starter for the Western Conference.

After Morant and Young were both selected for the All-Star game, Rayford Young (Trae's father) took to Twitter to share how both players worked hard to earn the recognition. He also recalled how he told Tee Morant (Ja's dad) that he has nothing to worry about his son since he is sure he would be a superstar in the league.

Trae shared his father's tweet and highlighted how he and Morant will “keep beating the odds.”

To recall, both Trae Young and Ja Morant failed to make the All-Star team last year. This 2021-22 season, however, the Hawks sharpshooter and Grizzlies leader left zero doubt that they should be in the yearly festivity.

Morant, for his part, has led the Grizzlies to the third-best record in the NBA at 33-17. He is averaging 25.8 points, 5.9 rebounds and 6.9 assists while shooting an efficient 48.9 percent from the field per game.

While some would argue that other players like Zach LaVine and Luka Doncic have been snubbed as All-Star starters, the fact of the matter is Young and Morant have really turned heads this season and convinced fans that they should be in the All-Star game. It's definitely a well-deserved honor worth celebrating.
