Kirkland diapers

Costco's Kirkland brand makes diapers.

Diaper gurus say the manufacturer behind the diapers is Kimberly-Clark, which is the company behind Huggies diapers.

If you go on parenting websites, many forums talk about the savings and the Huggies maker behind the Kirkland brand.

At Costco, you can buy a box of 192 Huggies diapers for $37.69.

If you decide to go with the Kirkland brand, it will cost you $29.99 for a pack of 192.

That's a savings of almost $8.

Kirkland Soups

Kirkland sells soups in bulk.

In the past, Kirkland had partnered with Campbell's to offer tomato basil bisque.

That product is now discontinued but it's interesting to note the various partnerships past and present.

Kirkland cosmetics

Kirkland has teamed up to bring you beauty products.

Italian brand, Borghese, partnered with Kirkland to offer you makeup.

The Kirkland co-branded makeup will cost you about $30 online versus Borghese products which run between $50 to $90.

What is the Kirkland brand?

Kirkland Signature which is Costco's store brand has been offering lower priced substitutes which is giving its competitors competition.

Costco introduced Kirkland products in 1995 as a way to attract customers and build a reputation on quality products at low prices.

About a quarter of Costco's $118.7billion in annual sales comes from Kirkland Signature products, reports the Wall Street Journal.
