No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident Thursday on Highway 30 in Carroll. The Carroll Police Department was dispatched at approximately 3:18 p.m. to the intersection of Highway 30 and Main Street. Their initial investigation found a 2010 Toyota Corolla, driven ben 18-year-old Trevor Hansen of Auburn, was traveling westbound on the highway and was beginning to slow for traffic ahead. A westbound 2015 Ford F150, driven by a 15-year-old juvenile, was following behind the Hansen vehicle and failed to slow in time to avoid striking the Toyota. Functional damages were reported to both vehicles, and the juvenile driver was cited for following too closely.
