The Brooklyn Nets had positive news for their fans ahead of their Saturday night matchup against the Golden State Warriors.

James Harden last played in the Nets' Tuesday night loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. He missed Brooklyn's Wednesday night loss to the Denver Nuggets due to left hamstring soreness. Fortunately, head coach Steve Nash said that the star point guard practiced Friday and will play Saturday night.

ESPN reporter Nick Friedell tweeted the news Friday afternoon.

This is huge news for the Nets, who are on a three-game losing streak. Harden leads his team in rebounds and assists with an average of 8.1 rebounds and 10.1 assists each game. He also averages 29.3 points each game.

Meanwhile, Nets' point leader Kevin Durant is expected to be out until the end of February due to a sprained MCL. He hasn't played since the Nets' dominating win over the New Orleans Pelicans in mid January.

Harden will have to step up on Saturday in KD's absence, and continue to lead his team into getting on the right track. The Nets are fourth in the Eastern Conference with a solid record of 29-19. If they don't snap their losing streak soon, the Philadelphia 76ers (5th in the Eastern Conference) or the Milwaukee Bucks (6th in the Eastern Conference) could quickly take over their spot.
