Boys basketball Thursday roundup: A look back at a big night in the Colonial League, including another high-scoring night for Brendan Boyle

The Eastern Pennsylvania Conference will take center stage on Friday night, but Thursday night belonged to the Colonial League and Bangor, Notre Dame-Green Pond, Salisbury, and Wilson, who are all in league playoff contention, were among the winners.

The Colonial League is expected to be busy again on Saturday, but there has already been one postponement as Southern Lehigh at Northern Lehigh has been moved to Monday night due to the expected snowstorm.

Here’s a look at Thursday’s results:

COLONIAL LEAGUE

BANGOR 80, PALISADES 53

The Slaters rebounded from a 35-point loss to Notre Dame with a home win over the Pirates and improved to 8-9 overall, 7-6 in the league.
