The Crimson Tide Foundation interviewed Jenna Johnson for her love and passion for the game. Johnsons undeniable fearlessness in the outfield is something that she takes pride in. Her passion for getting out on the field, getting dirty, and diving into the bases is when she truly fell in love with the game.

One of her biggest role models she looked up too was Haylie McCleney, a former Bama softball athlete who is now a pro softball player and a member on team USA. McCleney is known to play fearless in the outfield and that's exactly how Johnson wanted to play the game.

Looking at National Girls & Women in Sports Day coming up in February it's important for young girls to be empowered and have those positive role models in their lives. Alabama Women's softball tries to keep that in mind. Johnson expresses the importance of inspiring younger generation to keep playing the game. Young girls are capable of bettering themselves and being the best athletes they can be and achieving their own personal goals.
