Rochester, NY (WHAM) - Colder air will build across the area today. Temperatures will continue to fall from the 20s, and into the teens for much of the area. Clouds will linger. There will be some scattered snow showers.
Tonight, temperatures will drop to the single digits overnight. Most wind chills will be below zero. Some areas south of the Thruway will see wind chills drop into the double-digits below zero. There is a Wind Chill Advisory in effect for those areas south of Rochester from tonight through early tomorrow morning.
Tomorrow, there will be some snow showers initially. Clouds will linger for the early part of the day as well. More breaks of sun return by the afternoon. But high temperatures will only reach the lower teens.
But there's some better news for next week. By the middle of next week, highs will reach back into the 40s.
