Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street is lining up another big feud between Audrey Roberts and Rita Tanner.
Fans will know that the pair have been sparring in recent months, thanks in part to Norris Cole's revelation from beyond the grave that Rita has been having her hair coloured by Audrey's rival Claudia Colby.
Audrey was understandably less than pleased by the confession, and later on at a surprise birthday meal designed to lift a disheartened Audrey's spirits, she snapped and storms off. However, in the process she accidentally hit Rita's car.
While they tried to eventually bury the hatchet, Audrey takes offence when Rita suggests she get an eye test, despite concerns from her family.
In new scenes set to air next week, things look set to get tense once again between Audrey and Rita as they try to put things right.
When Audrey heads back home from the shops, Shona notices the clanking of bottles in her shopping bag and comments on it, while Gail arrives back to see Audrey drinking wine. However, she takes offence when Sarah suggests she has been drinking all night.

Audrey is even more frustrated later in the week, complaining to Gail and Shona that nobody trusts her anymore, and a concerned Shona suggests Rita have a night out and pushes her to get a hairdo from Audrey to make up. A reluctant Rita agrees.
Following the suggestion, Rita suggests to Audrey that she does her hair to stop their quarrel, notices Audrey's bottles and asks for a glass, much to Audrey's relief.

Shona is pleased with herself when she sees a freshly coiffed Rita and Audrey getting along. However, Audrey gets angry at being set up, and Rita snaps, hitting out at her daytime drinking before heading out.
Will the two ever reconcile?
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Tuesday, February 1 at 8pm and Wednesday, February 2 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
