You'll definitely need a jacket, a hat and some gloves this morning, as temperatures have fallen into the upper 20s to lower 30s under a clear sky. Windchills are in the low 20s!
Plenty of sunshine will greet you this afternoon with afternoon highs on the low to mid 50s. North winds will gust as high as 25 mph, making it feel like it's in the 40s all day long.
Are you ready for one of the best weekends we've had in quite some time!! Afternoon highs both Saturday and Sunday will reach the mid to upper 60s with plenty of sunshine!
A little bit of drought relief will arrive on Monday. There's a 50/50 shot of showers across DFW. Less of a chance NW and a greater chance south and east. Afternoon highs will hover in the low 60s.
More clouds than sun expected on Tuesday with highs in the mid 60s.
On Wednesday, a strong Arctic front will plow through north Texas during the 2nd half of the day. I still think we'll get up into the mid 60s, then temperatures will plummet into the twenties by early Thursday morning. I'm also going to keep one eye open for a chance of some cold rain along the front and a slight chance of a wintry mix late Wednesday night into early Thursday morning. This all depends on the speed and track of the upper level low. Stay tuned!
