Cold but quiet Friday; warming trend starts this weekend

Snow has moved out of Michiana through the early morning hours. You may find a dusting of snow in the roads, so remember to drive safely.

Otherwise, it’s a quiet but cold day to end the week. This morning temperatures fall into the single digits. Wind chill could briefly fall into the negative single digits out the door.

We’ll see a mix of sun and clouds through the afternoon with a high in the upper teens.

A nice warming trend starts Sunday and will continue into the week. Expect a high in the lower 40s by Tuesday.

While the weekend is quiet, we’re focusing on precipitation Tuesday through Thursday of next week. The system likely starts as rain, then gradually turns to a rainy/snowy mix, before becoming all snow again as temperatures drop.
