FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. -- The mayor of Fort Walton Beach was injured in a car crash while traveling out of town with his wife, according to the city's public information's manager.

According to The City of Fort Walton Beach, Mayor Dick Rynerson is being treated for his injuries. The city says he is okay.

The city did not confirm the time of the incident or the condition of his wife.
