The Golden State Warriors will have a pair of starters representing the team at the 2022 NBA All-Star game in Cleveland.

On Thursday, the NBA announced both Steph Curry and Andrew Wiggins have been named starters for the 2022 NBA All-Star game. 2022 will mark Curry’s eighth trip to the All-Star game.

During the 2021-22 NBA season, Curry has been widely considered a Most Valuable Player candidate, averaging 25.8 points on 41.6% shooting from the field with 6.2 assists and 5.4 rebounds per game.

Despite a recent slump, Curry has registered 14 games with 30 or more points, including a 50 point effort against the Atlanta Hawks in November. In December, Curry became the NBA’s all-time leader in made 3-pointers, passing NBA Hall of Famer Ray Allen.

Curry has helped push the Warriors to a 35-13 record, second-best in the Western Conference.
