The Ottawa Senators will possibly be looking to unload some of their pending unrestricted free agents leading up to the NHL's trade deadline on March 21st.

According to Frank Seravalli of Daily Faceoff, two names that are drawing interest are Nick Paul and Anton Forsberg. Ottawa would like to find a way to re-sign them, but teams have been calling General Manager Pierre Dorion about the pair.

"One we talked about previously this week in our Blue Paint segment and that would be Anton Forsberg. The Sens have been thrilled with what they've seen from Forsberg. His name has popped up in conversations among other teams that are looking for netminders. The Sens would consider re-signing him," Seravalli said.

Forsberg, 29, has played the majority of games in net this season for the Ottawa Senators. In 16 games, he has a record of 7-6-1 with a 3.01 G.A.A., a .912 save percentage and one shutout.

He added, "The other one is Nick Paul. I think there's been considerable interest in Nick Paul, as well, up front. Teams love his work ethic and what he brings to the ice."

Even though there has been interest in Nick Paul, his preference is to stay in Ottawa according to his agent, Paul Capizzano.

Bruce Garrioch of Postmedia said in a tweet on Thursday, "#Sens GM Pierre Dorion has already held talks with Nick Paul's agent Paul Capizzano of Quartexx Management. ''Nick would love to stay in Ottawa if it can work.''

Paul, 26, brings size, grit and would be a good fit on the third line of any team contending for the Stanley Cup this year.
