Medical providers, physicians, and psychologists were a few of those on the panel answering questions from the community surrounding COVID-19.
KRCR spoke with a Redding doctor and panelist who says this is all in an effort to help educate the public with their local, first-hand experiences.
A lot of healthcare providers have really worked hard to take care of the community when many people were too scared to venture [out of their] homes," said Dr. Paul Dhanuka. "Now, I have seen that [and] I have gone through that. And it’s very important for us to share [those] experience with the community. And really, so we can bring all the sites together and heal our community.
Topics covered included COVID-19 vaccines, masking, natural immunity, and more.
Organizers say this will be the first of many COVID-19 forums to come.
