Raiders could land big-name DC under Josh McDaniels?

Tom Brady takes trash talk ahead of “The Match” so seriously that even his own teammate is not safe. Brady and Aaron Rodgers are preparing to take on Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen in this year’s installment of Capital One’s “The Match,” which will be held on June 1. In a promo that was released on Tuesday, Brady took shots at Rodgers and Mahomes over their favorite wide receivers being traded this offseason.

Dwayne Haskins’ widow issued a new statement on Monday, hours after the autopsy and toxicology report for the late quarterback were released. Haskins was killed after being hit by a truck in Florida on April 9. The autopsy and toxicology reports revealed Haskins had drugs in his sytem and his blood alcohol content was three times the legal limit.

Cam Newton has struggled over his last two seasons, but the Carolina Panthers aren’t closing the door on bringing him back for 2022. On Monday, Jonathan M. Alexander of the Charlotte Observer reported that the Panthers are open to signing Newton. Alexander says there are two conditions under which Carolina would sign Newton: he would not enter camp as the starter, and he would need to agree to a smaller salary.

The Baltimore Ravens have added a reliable piece to their secondary. The Ravens announced on Tuesday that they have signed veteran cornerback Kyle Fuller to a one-year deal. Fuller, 30, is a two-time Pro Bowler and former All-Pro. He spent the first seven years of his career with the Chicago Bears before playing a lone season for the Denver Broncos in 2021.
