Cheng Hsiao, 39, and her two children, 3-year-old Ethan and 2-year-old Ian, were found after they left their home on Old Lane in the Towaco section of Montville Township, according to Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll, Chief of Detectives Christoph Kimker, and Montville Township Police Chief Andrew Caggiano.

The three were reported missing on Sunday.

Through extensive cooperative efforts of the Montville Township Police Department, the NYPD and other law enforcement agencies working with the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Missing Persons Unit, the three members of the Hsiao family were located "safe and unharmed."

Cheng and her children indicated they would not return to their marital home in Montville.

No charges are being filed at this time.

Hsiao’s husband, Kahan Hsiao, reported them missing on Sunday, and at the time, the prosecutor's office said there was concern for their well-being.
