Pokémon Legends: Arceus is here, drawing players into the Hisui region for an all new kind of adventure. New species and situations can be found throughout, and we’re here to help you fill out your Pokédex! While plenty of what you’ll find will be familiar, some of the brand new Pokémon or regional Hisuian forms you’ll find have unique methods to evolve them.

Among these are Ursaring, who gained a brand new evolution – Ursaluna! The process for evolving into Ursaluna isn’t too difficult, but does have two specific requirements that must be met. Read on to learn what you need, where you need to be, and when it all needs to happen!

Where to find Teddiursa and Ursaring in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Wild Teddiursa and Ursaring can both be found in the same two parts of Hisui:

  • The Crimson Mirelands (Ursa’s Ring)
  • Coronet Highlands (at the Sonorous Path)

If you start at Teddiursa (and you will need to catch one to complete the Pokédex!) you can raise it to Level 30 to evolve into Ursaring

How to evolve Ursaring into Ursaluna in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Once you have an Ursaring, you can evolve it into Ursaluna by meeting these two criteria:

  • It must be a full moon in-game. You can cycle phases of the moon by sleeping repeatedly, but it must be a full moon to evolve Ursaring into Ursaluna.
  • Use a Peat Block on your Ursaring like you would other evolution items.

Where to find Peat Block in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

The main way to find Peat Blocks is to search for hidden items in the Crimson Mirelands while riding Ursaluna. It can be tricky to find, but once you do you’ll be able to add Ursaluna to your collection and not just your rideable roster. You can also eventually pick them up from the Merit Points Shop if that proves too daunting.
