It’s that time of the year. Time for the Kitchen’s “Draft of Drafts”! Each host shares their picks for the best beer to enjoy on the Big Game Day.

Jeff Mauro has the first pick. How about a bourbon barrel-aged stout? It’s great because of the rich and oaky flavor. It’s the perfect beer to start things off before switching to a lighter brew. This MVP is a great option for your stout-loving guests.

Next up, Katie Lee Biegel drafts a classic light beer. She loves it for its crisp and refreshing flavor. Light beer is easy to drink and good to have on hand for your guests who don't often drink beer. It also has a low ABV, making it Katie’s first round pick to enjoy throughout all four quarters.

Alex Guarnaschelli selects a domestic Belgian-style white beer. She likes the creamy head and refreshing balance of flavors. Belgian-style white beer has a delicious combination of citrusy acidity, sweetness, a creamy mouthfeel and some peppery notes. It’s sure to be a crowd pleaser with beer drinkers.

Geoffrey Zakarian has the final first round draft pick. He went for a citrus sour with a refreshing, slightly hoppy flavor. He transforms his beer into a “Brewsky” Sour Cocktail. Chef Zakarian mixes whiskey, egg whites, lime juice and simple syrup for the ultimate game day sipper.
