Finally some good offense. Avery needs to build off his performance tonight. Finally looked like I thought he would at the beginning of the season. Of course ISU is lights out from deep the one game our offense is performing.

Wow. Another road team shoots career high’s like it’s their own gym. Anderson crawled out from under the rock. Look like Iowa state had a mini Jordan!! If that kid plays like that’s every night then off to the pros my man.

Kudos to Avery! I like how hard our team plays, but with our anemic offense I had said it would be hard to win a game without Bryce Williams. Overall, I think our team stinks.

Avery and Ice had a great game. I wish they could have won when the opportunity was there.

I wish Avery would’ve gotten the first crack at the last shot attempt instead of off the rebound. I don’t know if it would’ve made a difference but he was the hot hand in a group of not so hot shooters I think you gotta have him take the shot. It’s moments like these where I think we miss Bryce Williams the most. He makes clutch plays in crunch time and I think out of anyone on the roster he is the most capable of hitting a game winner or a game tying shot.

So we played the 23rd ranked team in the nation without our best offensive threat, took them to overtime with opportunities to win and we stink?!?!? I don’t think we can ask more than to be within 5 points near the end of the game with any team in the Big 12 this year. I admire how hard they play even thought they are playing for nothing but pride.

It blows my mind how well opponents shot at GIA night in and night out. It’s been that way since coach B has been there.

I don’t think a team that was 2-5 in any conference should be ranked in the top 25. ISU has some great shooters. We were out gunned. Would we have won with Bryce W. playing? With the inconsistency of how each player performs from game to game, it is hard to predict much about this team. Just have to wait till the season ends to judge how good they are or are not. If Avery is over his slump and Bryce W. returns, then it should be a much better team.

Besides one game this season this team hasn’t been blown out. They just need to be a little more consistent offensively. There needs to be more than just one or two players doing a majority of the scoring.

You are ridiculous. You’ll bag on Gundy after a NY6 win. Boynton’s probably going to finish 7th in conference and you’re like drenching your skirt.

Did I take up for Boynton in my comment? All I said is they pretty much haven’t been blown out (which they haven’t besides Tech). I think anyone with eyeballs that’s watched this team play would agree just a little more offensive productivity from anyone not named Thompson or Anderson would go a long ways.

Yes, but you say stuff like, “we should’ve lost x game” or “we only won because of defense”. You find fault in football’s victories, but all this optimism in basketball’s defeats.

Umm…probably because the defense has been the overwhelming reason of why OSU has won nearly all of its games in football this past season.

OK, but who cares and why is that a complaint? It’s better to win 12 games with defense than finish at the bottom of the conference with balance.

It’s better to beef up the offensive line and score a touchdown to win the conference title than be the runner up and say to the media “Well…unfortunately we just came up on the wrong side of it”. Simply because after eight years they can’t figure out how to have any consistency at the offensive line any longer.
