Following science means knowing when to adapt

“Science is not truth. Science is finding. ” (Brown, Brené, 2021, "Atlas of the Heart") It evolves with knowledge.

Yes, we were even told to wear gloves in the beginning of the outbreak. But new discoveries of the way the virus was transmitted came to light. We learned that omicron was highly contagious and that the N95 is more effective in containing the contagion. When we know better, we do better.

Survival is not for the fittest, but for the most adaptive. Be like your first grader, take off the mask. I, for one, am covering my smile with a N95 mask and looking forward to what other discoveries science can find that will prolong my survival.
