Kanye is certainly serious about his new album DONDA 2.
The rap mogul has announced today that the album, the follow up to last year’s Grammy nominated DONDA, will arrive on February 22. He added in the Instagram post that it will be executive produced by Future. Check out the date signified over a billboard of his Chicago childhood home on fire, below.
‘Ye has been pretty active in the last month or, roaming around (and outside) the country with new girlfriend Julia Fox and recording with people like Big Sean, Hit-Boy, Future, The Game, DJ Khaled and more. He recently joined forces with Game on the song ‘Eazy‘.
Back in November during the Drink Champs interview, Kanye had revealed that he had left his longtime label Def Jam so it will be interested to see where he heads for this release.
