DJ Khaled’s the best — at collecting expensive jewelry, that is.
The rapper, 46, paid a visit to Jacob & Co. and picked up the diamond-encrusted “Billionaire III” watch. And while he didn’t quite drop 10 figures on the timepiece, the “I’m the One” producer still parted with a cool $3 million.
“I call her Gorgeous,” Khaled boasted on Instagram of his latest purchase.
The “Billionaire III” is covered in 713 diamonds, including 504 emerald-cut diamonds horizontally set by hand in 18k white gold to make up the bracelet.
The case, meanwhile, is studded with an additional 209 stones. The watch also features a skeletanized tourbillon movement and a sophisticated “invisible setting,” meaning that none of the supporting metal is visible.
In total, the piece weighs in at over 129 carats — enough bling to catch your eye.
And the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree; while Khaled often shows off his insane shoe collection and racks of designer duds, his 5-year-old son, Asahd, has been rocking Rolexes since he was in diapers.
Clearly, a taste for the finer things runs in the family.
