Wednesday, January 26th

10:15am: A Traffic Stop at Grimmell and Mahlon resulted in Michael Rumley of Jefferson being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

11:10am: Nikki Henderson reported receiving a Scam Phone Call. The subject advised the Postal Service had seized narcotics that were to be delivered to her residence. He was attempting to collect information. She did not give out any information to the caller.

11:34am: Fareway advised a male subject had just left the business at 1207 North Elm Street, who had been Trespassed from the property a few months ago. The officer has requested an Arrest Warrant for Cody Heirs of Scranton for, “Trespass – Simple.”

2:49pm: Jim Burton spoke with an officer about a Driving Complaint involving a vehicle in Jefferson.

4:02pm: Wendy Vanderlinden reported a Stray Dog near Lincoln Way and Westwood Drive. The officer did not locate the reported animal.

4:40pm: Casey’s reported a subject, who had been trespassed from the business at 508 North Elm Street, had returned tonight and made foul hand gestures to a worker. The officer is investigating.

4:58pm: Oly’s Corner reported a Gas Drive Off from 208 West Lincoln Way Street. The subject left without paying for $23.46 in fuel. The officer is attempting to contact the subject, who lives in Boone.

7:03pm: Amy Baugh reported a vehicle parked in the alley in the 400 Block of North Chestnut Street, had the windows broke out and glass was everywhere. When the officer arrived, the vehicle was gone, and no reports were made to police from the owner.

9:07pm: Kathy Fetters requested a Welfare Check on a female in the 600 Block of South Vine Street. The officer arrived at the address and could see a subject lying on the floor inside. The officer had the GC Ambulance respond and assisted them in the Medical Call.

9:15pm: A caller advised his juvenile son had not returned home at the time permitted. As the officer was speaking to the subject, the juvenile returned home. No further assistance was needed.
