Semitruck crashes into scaffolding in downtown Seattle

SEATTLE — A semitruck has crashed into scaffolding at a building under construction in downtown Seattle.

The Seattle Fire Department tweeted about the crash near Fifth Avenue and Marion Street at 9:19 a.m. Thursday.

Seattle fire said that an adjacent building was evacuated as a precaution and a safety perimeter was set up.

Crews searched the building under construction and found no one inside.

Tow trucks will remove the semi and trailer. A few units from Seattle fire will remain at the scene to monitor the scaffolding.

No injuries were reported.

Lanes are blocked at the crash scene. Drivers should avoid the area.

Nope it’s old people and foreigners I always see big rigs hitting on their brakes and causing accidents or switch lanes and cause an accident
