LeBron James used a line from a Spider-Man movie to joke about what he told Austin Reaves to confuse him

Marvel nerds, rejoice. LeBron James. He is one of us. It is now officially confirmed.

James finally got in on the joke about him confusing Austin Reaves when the Lakers played the Nets on Tuesday night. It’s the newest NBA meme now and it’s a great one.

James told Reaves something about the game and Reaves just had the most confused look on his face. Whatever LeBron just told him didn’t seem to make a ton of sense to him, but it’s also LeBron. So you can’t not do it, right? Right.

Regardless, Reaves’ face took the internet by storm and in what became one of the more hilarious moments of the season. And LeBron wanted in.

He posted the meme of Reaves and himself on Instagram alongside a picture of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Tony Stark and Peter Parker with a quote saying ”

“Don’t do anything I would do. And definitely don’t do anything I wouldn’t do. There’s a lil gray area in there and that’s where you operate.”

My nerd senses immediately began tingling. This quote came from Spider-Man: Homecoming when Peter first got his suit from Iron Man. It’s a great scene.

Wow, man. LeBron James is a nerd, too. Who knew?
