Pajuniemi was called up to the taxi squad from AHL Hartford on Thursday.
Pajuniemi is unlikely to make his NHL debut unless multiple Rangers forwards become unavailable. The fifth-round pick from 2018 has 17 points over 33 AHL Hartford games in 2021-22.
