Reunanen was elevated to the Rangers' taxi squad Thursday.
Reunanen has yet to make his season debut at the NHL level this year and that's unlikely to change heading into a back-to-back versus Columbus and Minnesota on Thursday and Friday, respectively. Even if an injury pops up, fellow taxi squad member Nils Lundkvist would likely be first in line for a spot on the active roster.
