A New Jersey mother and her two young children who were reported missing days ago have been found safe, authorities said Thursday.

Cheng Hsiao, 39, and her children Ethan, 3, and Ian, 2, were reported missing Sunday, and officials had asked for the public’s help, saying there was concern for their well-being.

On Thursday night, the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office said then three were safe and had indicated they will not be returning to their home in Montville Township.

The prosecutor’s office said that Hsiao’s husband has been informed, and no other information would be released.

No charges have been filed, the prosecutor's office said.
