Social media can be a funny place. As much as it can be a fun space to what your fave celebs are getting up to on the weekend, their 'perfect' selfies can also leave you feeling a bit… meh.
But it’s important to remember that a lot of the celebrity pictures on your Insta feed are usually aided with professional lighting or filters.
Thankfully, there are many celebs, like Hailey Bieber, who also share selfies of their natural skin, in natural lighting and not a filter in sight.
In a new series of Instagram pictures, Hailey teased her upcoming beauty brand, Rhode. In the caption, she wrote: “glazed 🍩🍩 skin all 2022. Tell a friend.”
Now, of course, Hailey’s skin looks incredible, as always. It looks super fresh and has a healthy glow, but what we love most about these snaps is the fact that they appear to be unfiltered.
In the pictures, especially the third one, you can see Hailey’s real skin texture, which includes the appearance of pores and freckles. All completely normal, all still very beautiful.
In the post, she also tagged @rhode. While it doesn’t have any posts at the moment, we obviously hit ‘follow’ straight away to get all the updates.
Seeing a celeb like Hailey post these sorts of pictures on Instagram is so important.
On the social media platform, so many celebs and high-profile figures will filter, airbrush and Photoshop their images, leaving you to feel like you’re the only one in the world with pores and blemishes. Which obviously isn’t the case at all.
So, we’re so here to see somebody like Hailey normalise the appearance of skin texture on Instagram.
