Michael Preston

Michael Preston Foreman was born in Malvern, Arkansas on November 14, 1950 to Doris Louise Allen and Lyndall Jackson Foreman. He passed away January 21, 2022 in Grants, New Mexico. Services will be held Wednesday, January 26 at 10 a.m. at Grace Baptist Church in Milan, New Mexico with Pastor Dale Thatcher officiating.

After graduating from Grants High School in 1969, Mike went to work for KerrMcGee. He also worked for Mountain Bell, The Mine Supply Company, and Miller Supply. Mike worked 16 years as a heavy equipment operator for Lee Ranch Coal until pulmonary arterial hypertension forced him to retire. Mike is survived by his wife: Carolyn Scyrkels Foreman; son: Keegan and daughter-in-love Angelina Holden Foreman of Grants; brothers: John Allen Foreman of Spokane, Washington and Daniel Neil Foreman of Grants; nephews: John Christopher, Neil, and Patrick Foreman; nieces: Lisa Hyer, Shelly Meador, Amanda Weber, April Rodriguez and Nicole Newman; and all their children. Mike was preceded in death by his son: Jesse Jack Foreman.
