Arc'teryx Delivers System_A Drop 02 Collection
Winterized essentials.
Following a teaser last week, Arc’teryx has now delivered the sophomore release of its fledgling line. Building on the roots of Arc’teryx adapted with an inclusive focus with gender-fluid silhouettes, System_A serves as a new system of exploration centered around performance design solutions that intersect outdoor technology and disruptive style.
The Arc’teryx System_A Drop 02 collection features a range of winterized essentials constructed to handle high and low altitudes. Included in the release are insulated outerwear, mid-layers and accessories including a balaclava, gaiter and toque. Designed for a new mountain experience, styles are defined by technical elements accented by a black, white, gray and fluorescent yellow color scheme.
“System_A was created to push the boundaries of how people perceive technical gear, both functionally and aesthetically, says Taka Kasuga, Senior Director of Design at Arc’teryx. “We wanted to address how the younger generations are actually experiencing the outdoors, solving practical problems and building emotional connections. We want to keep growing and designing for this community of young outdoor enthusiasts.”
