Britney Spears was just released from her prison-like conservatorship, and the 'Like a Virgin' pop singer has already expressed her desire to reunite for a tour.

Now that Britney Spears is freer to do what she wants, Madonna is hoping for a co-headlining tour! It was said that the "Material Girl" singer would like to do shows with Britney in the near future, which would offer them the perfect opportunity to have yet another kiss, much like they did onstage at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards.

On Wednesday, January 26, Madonna made her desire known in a brief Instagram Live video.

Before answering fan questions about her music and forthcoming tour, the Queen of Pop spent some time considering possible film names. In response to questions from fans, Madonna said she would love to perform a tour with "Overprotected" singer.   She yelled out, "Hell yeah!" she responded. "Stadium baby. Me and Britney, what about that?"

She stated she wasn't sure whether Britney would be down, but Madonna completely recognized how legendary the original moment had been and how excited fans would be to watch the duo kiss again 20 years after they first locked lips on the VMAs stage. "I'm not sure she'd be into it, but it'd be really cool. We could like re-enact the original [kiss]," Madonna mentioned in the video.

While it's clear that nothing is written in stone, it doesn't appear that Britney is opposed to reconnecting with her "Me Against The Music" colleague for their legendary kiss. During an Instagram Q&A session, a fan asked Britney if she had ever kissed a girl, and the popstar responded with a smile. "Yes I have kissed a girl and her name is Madonna," she said.

Madonna was one of many celebrities who spoke out in favor of Britney's freedom during her conservatorship dispute. In an Instagram Story from July, she referred to the conservatorship as a "violation of human rights" and compared it to slavery. Her plea was to restore this woman's dignity. "Britney we coming to get you out of jail!"

Meanwhile, Britney Spears isn't looking forward to another tour.

in a recent blog post, Spears took some time on Monday (Dec. 13) to reflect on the many presents she received from celebrities on her 40th birthday and give thanks for everything she has. The "Toxic" singer, then revealed how much she "hated" her former, exhausting touring schedule when asked about it.

"I know I'm not playing in huge arenas with my loud band anymore but I will be honest and say life on the road is hard !!!" she wrote in the lengthy post. "My first three years in the biz and on the road were great but I'll be completely honest and say that after those three tours and the pace I was going ... I don't think I ever want to do it again !!! I hated it !!!
