Similar situation

Brown's close call is eerily reminiscent of a similar scare that happened to a man named Steve Kingsbury in November.

Kingsbury told NewsCenter 5 that he believes debris from bridge construction smashed his windshield while he was driving on I-93 through Milton.

"Some large object struck my windshield, shattered the windshield right in front of me," Kingsbury said.

Kingsbury said MassDOT responded to his report with an email, assuring him project managers would be notified. But following Brown's incident, Kingsbury said his concern is growing.

"I'm looking overhead a little bit more, for it to happen to me and then happen to somebody else," Kingsbury said.
