LYNDON CENTER — It took a little time, but the white-hot Lyndon boys hockey team eventually found its groove Wednesday night.

Alex Giroux pocketed a hat trick, Nick Matteis scored twice and the Vikings used a three-goal burst in the second and third periods to dance past rival St. J 7-1 in front of a packed house at Fenton Chester Arena.
