Deputies looking for two teen girls who have been missing for two weeks

DUPLIN COUNTY, NC —
An eastern North Carolina sheriff’s department is searching for teenage girls who have been missing for two weeks.

The Duplin County Sheriff’s Office said Meylin Flores and Jashlin Alvarenga, both 15, were dropped off at home after school by their parents about two weeks ago and then disappeared.
Investigators said the girls have ties in multiple areas of the country and have a history of running away from home.

They are asking anyone that knows where the teens may be to contact Detective Edward Johnson at the Duplin County Sheriff’s Office at 910-296-2150.
