Johnny Gargano Reacts To "Johnny Wrestling" Chants During AEW Dynamite: Beach Break

Johnny Gargano hears you chanting his name.

The January 26 episode of AEW Dynamite emanated from Cleveland, Ohio, the hometown of former NXT Superstar Johnny Gargano. During the show, billed as 'Beach Break,' chants of "Johnny Wrestling" could be heard echoing throughout the Wolstein Center.

Gargano took to Twitter after the show to express his gratitude and promise his fans that he will make it up to them as soon as possible.

Gargano's WWE run concluded following the December 7 episode of NXT. On that night, he addressed the audience, thanking them for their unconditional support before being attacked by Grayson Waller.

During his first Twitch stream, Gargano said that he watches all wrestling and would be listening to the crowds.

"The 'Johnny Wrestling' chants, they mean the world to me. If you chant Johnny Wrestling' somewhere, loud enough, you never know what could happen. I could show up anywhere at this point, I'm free to do whatever I want. If someone wants to see me bad enough, those Johnny Wrestling chants come in, I'll hear them. I watch everything. It's just like Candyman. If you chant Johnny Wrestling 100 times, I will show up," Gargano said.

As of now, Gargano's next move in wrestling is unknown. Outside the ring, however, he and his wife, Candice LeRae are anticipating the birth of their child who is due next month.
