STAYC's 'ASAP' Ranks on MelOn's Domestic Year-End Chart
On January 27, STAYC ranked 30th on the Domestic Year-End Chart by MelOn, the largest online music site in South Korea, with their title song, "ASAP"!
"ASAP" is a song that expresses desire for the ideal type, perfectly drawn in the heart to appear ASAP (As Soon As Possible) over a sound that stands out for its coolness.
STAYC's "ASAP" showed remarkable feat by staying on the MelOn daily chart for 246 days in a row, an achievement made right after release.
Not only that, about nine months have passed since its release, and even now, it has set a record of charting in the Top 100 on the daily chart, proving they are an emerging music powerhouse.
STAYC Wins Trophies From Korean Major Music Awards
STAYC has built an unrivaled teen fresh genre with hits of "ASAP" and "Sunglasses" in 2021. Moreover, the girl group shows dazzling performances in addition to MelOn chart results.
Following the achievement of six awards at the ceremonies in 2021, they also achieved recognitions from the ceremonies held in January 2022.
STAYC won the Best Performance Award at the 31st Seoul Music Awards. The ceremony covers the music industry in 2021, it was held last January 23.

They also won the Rookie of the Year award and the Main Digital Sound Source award at the Golden Disc Awards held last January 8.
The girl group is also nominated for an award at the upcoming 11th Gaon Chart Music Awards which will be held on January 27.
STAYC Acknowledged as Artist To Be Watched Out in 2022
On January 8, STAYC was named as one of the emerging artists for 2022 by NME, A British music review magazine. The girl group was named among K-pop artists, Dvwn, Msftz, Adora, Seori, and BIBI.
STAYC has been selected as an artist to pay attention to in 2022.
The girl group was also named "Group to Watch Out For in 2022" by global music platform Apple Music and music discovery app Shazam. They are the only Korean act to be named by the music media.
The title song "ASAP," is the title song of the second single "STAYDOM" released in April last 2021. It has been at the top of the Korean Shazam chart ever since its release.
STAYC established itself as a "4th generation representative idol group" by making hits successive hits like "ASAP" and "Sunglasses" last year, aside from that, they won different recognitions at major music awards. It is expected to continue the group's activities this year and radiate the girls' unique "teen fresh" charm.
