MARSHFIELD, WI (WSAU) — Marshfield residents will get the chance to hear from all three candidates for Mayor on one night before the February 15th Primary Election.
A community forum will take place Wednesday, February 2nd at 6:30 PM at the Marshfield Community Center on East 2nd Street.
The format will include opening statements, an audience question and answer session, and closing statements.
Candidates will have two minutes each for opening and closing statements, and three minutes to answer audience questions. A candidate may decline to answer any question as well.
For those who can’t attend in person, the event will be broadcast live on MFLD-TV which is available to both cable subscribers in Marshfield and on various streaming devices. A replay will also be available on MFLD-TV’s various media platforms.
All three candidates; Bob McManus, Ken Bargender, and Lois TeStrake, have been invited to participate. Organizers say they are not to pass out campaign literature to those attending the event.
