Watch: Evan Mobley posterizes Giannis Antetokounmpo

Evan Mobley may only be a rookie, but he took it straight to one of the league's stars on Wednesday.

Mobley put reigning Finals MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo on a poster in the Cavaliers' game against the Bucks, throwing down an emphatic dunk on the Milwaukee forward in the second quarter.

The sequence started with an equally as impressive play; after crossing over Jrue Holiday, Cleveland point guard Darius Garland drove into the paint. He looked off big man Bobby Portis before dishing a no-look pass to Mobley, right as Antetokounmpo slid over to help.

Mobley took the pass and went up strong off two feet and with two hands on the ball. Antetokounmpo skied up to try and swat it away, but Mobley was able to power through and slam it in. He also drew a foul on the play, although he missed the free throw.

Just over halfway through the year, Mobley has established himself as one of the front-runners for the Rookie of the Year award. Entering Wednesday, he was averaging 15 points, 8.2 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game while shooting 51 percent from the field.

Garland, meanwhile, has earned himself significant consideration for the Most Improved Player award, averaging 19.7 points and 8.2 assists per game. The pair's success has turned the Cavs into one of the league's biggest surprises this season, as they went into Wednesday at No. 5 in the East at 29-19.
