'Blue Bloods' Marks Incredible Milestone

Country star Reba McEntire will join ABC's Big Sky Season 3 as a series regular. Big Sky stars Katheryn Winnick and Kylie Bunbury as private detectives who investigate kidnappings and other crimes in Montana. Jensen Ackles and Jamie-Lynn Sigler, whose characters were introduced in Season 2, will be promoted to series regulars.

The fates of two fan-favorite drama series remain hanging in limbo. Amid a recent string of cancellations from networks including NBC, CBS, and The CW, Fox on Monday broke the mold when the network unveiled its programming lineup for the 2022-2023 TV season ahead of its upfront presentation. Handing renewals to everything from Call Me Kat to The Masked Singer, as well as giving series orders to titles like Food Star and Alert, noticeably missing on the programming slate was both 9-1-1 and The Resident, with Fox not yet revealing if the two series have been renewed or canceled.

Call Me Kat fans have been hoping the series would be renewed for Season 3, and now we know the fate of the hit Fox sitcom. Deadline reports that Call Me Kat will be back with all-new episodes in a third season. The first two seasons of the show premiered in January 2021 and 2022, respectively, so it's likely that Season 3 will debut in January 2023, but that is merely speculation at this time as no official premiere date has been announced.

One of the stars of This Is Us is on the move to a new network in advance of the show's series finale. Deadline reported in March that Chris Sullivan, who plays Toby on the NBC series, will headline a comedy pilot for ABC. His new show is set to be titled The Son In Law.

Netflix has canceled another one of its major shows, with this one getting the ax after only two seasons. Variety reports that hit sci-fi drama Raising Dion has been dropped by the streamer, following its recent season debut. The news seems to have been revealed by series star Sammi Haney, who shared the news with fans on Instagram. "Sad to say that Raising Dion is CANCELED [sic] Thank you for all of the amazing support we got from all of our wonderful fans!" Haney wrote, in part. "Season 2 was a success, equal to Season 1, even if just looking at how many people watched all of it and wanted a season 3!"
