Matt Hardy shares his memories of King of the Ring 1995. At the 1995 edition of the then-annual WWE event, Matt and Jeff Hardy served as "guardsmen" for the entrance the wrestlers emerged from. During a recent episode of his The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Matt explained how he and his brother landed the role while also sharing his "biggest laughable moment" from the show.

Chris Jericho reflected on his match against CM Punk at WWE WrestleMania XXVIII. Another name has been announced for The Wrestling Showcase. On May 14, WrestleZone confirmed AEW star Tony Nese as the latest competitor for the September 3 event. The Wrestling Showcase's inaugural event will emanate from The Hyatt Regency in Schaumburg, Illinois and will be headlined by a one-night, eight-man tournament to crown the first-ever Wrestling Showcase Champion.

The unrestrictive nature of AEW's schedule allows Eddie Kingston to take care of those who took care of him. Since signing with AEW in July 2020, Eddie Kingston has continued to work matches for independent promotions such as AAW, AIW, DEFY, and HOG. During a recent interview with Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp (full conversation seen above), The Mad King explained that money has never been a driving factor for him in the wrestling business. Instead, he takes the additional dates because he likes to give back to the places that kept him fed during his time on the independent circuit.

As first reported by Laredo Kid, Mia Yim appeared for IMPACT Wrestling at Under Siege after years away from the company. Fightful Select has learned this is not a one off, and Mia has signed with the company. In an update, we've confirmed that as of now, her contract is a short-term, six month deal that will carry her at least through the Bound For Glory PPV this year.

WWE Royal Rumble looks to head back to a familiar home. Fightful has learned that WWE's Royal Rumble event for January 2023 currently has the Alamodome in San Antonio as the front runner. The event last appeared there in 2017, and it was the site for the 1997 edition. Nothing is official until the venue and location is officially announced. Last year's Summerslam location was being discussed until fairly close to the actual announce date.

Via sources that work for WOW in a talent capacity, Fightful has been informed of allegations of issues surrounding Tessa Blanchard and WOW, after the brand looked to serve as a rehabilitation project for her. After Blanchard deactivated her social media, Fightful was told WOW sources that there has been a bit of a fallout between the two sides.
