Columbus City School said two schools will be closed on Thursday due to heating issues.

The district said classes are canceled on Thursday, Jan. 27, for Columbus Africentric Early College PK-12 and Columbus Downtown High School. There will be no remote or in-person learning at either school.

This comes a day after all schools in the district were closed due to frigid temperatures.

CCS said Sherwood Middle School will learn remotely Thursday due to an increased number of staff absences.

All other schools in the district will have in-person learning on Thursday.
